Nomads have been the biggest losers in today’s Tibet
Since 1998 the Chinese Government has been working systematically to end the nomadic way of life in Tibet. It has removed hundreds of thousands of nomads from the grasslands, forced them into permanent dwellings and deprived them of their traditional culture and livelihoods.

For over three years Tibet supporters have campaigned for Runggye Adak’s release. Following the discovery of the remarkable footage of Runggye Adak’s protest, Tibetans worldwide are reinvigorating the campaign to free Runggye Adak and highlight the oppression of Tibet’s nomads.
