Thösamling Institute for International
Buddhist Women is a Rime, non-sectarian
nunnery and institution. We offer Buddhist nuns
and lay women the opportunity to live and practice
as part of a spiritual community.
The nunnery consists of western and eastern
nuns in residence as well as visiting nuns and
lay women who are participating in our educational
programs, conducting
a retreat or simply choosing to spend time in
a monastic setting. In addition, monks and lay
men are also welcome to participate in the various
programs offered at Thösamling on a “commuter”
basis.
