An important element in Tibetan Buddhism, butter lamps (chömay in Tibetan) such as these at the Boudhanath Stupa are replenished by worshippers who donate butter as a way of accruing extra karmic merit.
The photograph is mounted on chlorine free plantation fibre card and comes with a 70% recycled paper envelope. Card size: 125mm x 173mm
