This photo was taken by Jamie at Sera Monastery, Lhasa, Tibet.
Tibetan monasteries and their surroundings are a fabulous labyrinth of stone buildings, narrow pathways and gardens in various states of disarray. I became disoriented on several occasions, more than once making an untimely entrance into a prayer or meditation session. It’s during such wanderings that I stumbled upon secluded corners such as this. If it weren’t for the electrical cables it’s not hard to imagine this scene hasn’t changed for centuries.
The photograph is mounted on chlorine free plantation fibre card and comes with a 70% recycled paper envelope. Card size: 125mm x 173mm
