Tibetan Children’s Village In 2005, 19 adventurous Tibet-supporters took the challenge and trekked for 6-days in the Indian Himalaya. They also visited the Tibetan Children’s Village, the Tibetan Refugee Reception Centre and the Norbulingka Institute in Dharamsala, home of the Dalai Lama. They took rickshaws in Delhi and paid a visit to the Taj Mahal.
In the process they raised almost $40,000 for ATC.
In 2007, we are again casting the net to find a select group of people to take on the Trek for Tibet.
