[05.May 2009] High Peaks Pure Earth has translated a blogpost by Tibetan blogger, Woeser, reporting that Lama Jigme Guri has been released and has returned to his monastery. Jigme was re-arrested in November 2008 after releasing a video statement describing the extreme torture and mistreatment he experienced in detention and his views on China’s devastating policies in Tibet.
