16 June 2025: ATC Executive Officer Dr Zoe Bedford, former Executive Director of TCHRD Tsering Tsomo and the visiting current Executive Director Tenzin Dawa met with Australian Government Departments today in Canberra.

TCHRD(Tibetan Centre for Human Rights & Democracy) presented their reports and shared their expertise on research and reporting of human rights abuses of Tibetans.

On their visit TCHRD and ATC together met with Tibetan Communities of Australia in other cities speaking to them about transnational repression.

We were also able to speak at length with Tenzin Dawa on our Australia Tibet Council podcast – touching topics such as transnational repression and TCHRD’s research work.
