14 Aug 2025: ATC and Tibetan Community leaders met with the Foreign Minister’s office to discuss concerns of the Tibetan Communities of Australia.

In the meetings we raised questions about the Prime Minister’s recent visit to China and the lack of public statements on human rights in Tibet and China.

The Newcastle Tibetan community also raised the recent case of the Chinese Consul-General’s meeting with the Newcastle Lord Mayor, which has caused the Tibetan community to fear for their safety. Read article here
