As a part of Australia Tibet Council’s celebration of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 90th Birthday and the Year of Compassion, we presented a tribute scroll of messages from Australia.
Our Australia Tribute Scroll was 5 metres long, full of heartfellt messages from followers of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Tibet supporters and Tibetans in Australia. It was presented to His Holiness in person by Executive Officer Dr Zoë Bedford and Board Member Kalsang Tsering on 3 November 2025 in Dharamsala, India.

To celebrate His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s milestone 90th Birthday, the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Central Tibetan Administration and the Tibetan people have been celebrating July 2025 to June 2026 as the “Year of Compassion”.
You can take part in this year-long celebration by leaving a message for His Holiness the Dalai Lama and committing yourself personally to contributing in some way towards realising His Holiness’ teachings of compassion and universal peace.
