Australian Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs, mentions Tibet in UN Human Rights Council Statement for Australia.

Australia Tibet Council welcomes Australia’s Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs the Hon Tim Watts MP’s statement mentioning Tibet at the 55th UN Human Rights Council.
In his statement the Assistant Foreign Minister said, “Ungoing human rights violations against Uyghurs, Tibetans and other minorities in Xinjiang, Tibet and across China, remain of grave concern, as are the erosion of rights and freedoms in Hong Kong”.
We are pleased to share that ATC had opportunities to consistently advocate and provide information to the Australian Government during the build-up to this statement.
